Welcome to Fiddlestix Miniatures & Shetlands. We are nestled
on nine park-like acres that is located south of Ft. Worth Texas off I-35 near
the town of Burleson. Our small farm was established the summer of 1995 when our
daughter Kelli was given a black AMHR mare as a gift. With that gift began the
involvement with the American Shetland Pony Club/American Miniature Horse
Registry and our breeding program.
In 1997 we purchased a "B" division miniature gelding,
Sharrway Chellie Pepper. Under the direction of our friend Sharron Hinkle she
took this outstanding gelding all the way to National Grand Champion in 1998.
This fine gelding went on to earn many more honors in the show ring from Halter,
Jumping, Versatility and Showmanship along with his Halter Hall of Fame. He
truly is one of those very rare jewels that don't come along very often in your
lifetime.

In December 1999 our first Classic American Shetland was
added. P.P.S. OOOOHZ N AHHZ was purchased as a Christmas gift to the family.
This fine gelding became our next rare jewel that was added to our show string.
With him we took on a whole new venture in showing the American Classic
Shetland. What fun this has been. Like Pepper, Azzie has also earned his
bragging rights in the show ring as well. This remarkable gelding has won many
honors from Open Halter, Amateur Halter (with Karen) and Showmanship along with his Halter
Hall of Fame all under the hand of our daughter Kelli Shaw. Congrats to you
both!

I would like to now introduce you to our Classic Shetland
breeding program. We have spent many hours researching pedigrees and looking at
both stallions and mares of which we wanted to base our program. In the spring
of 2003 we were given the opportunity to purchase one of the
grandsons to the famous Spit-N-Image from Cathy Brubaker of Friendship farm.
Pan's Silver Image is now the corner stone of our breeding program and we look
forward to many years with him. His mares were each individually hand picked
according to their pedigrees, personalities and conformation. I would like to
invite you back to take a look at our 2007 foal crop as they arrive. We just
might have what you are looking for.

Thank you for visiting our web site. We hope you enjoy looking at our ponies. Drop us a line anytime and remember a pony is for
everyone!
